Albuquerque is the largest city in the U.S. state of New Mexico and is flanked by the Sandia Mountains to the east and the West Mesa to the west, with the beautiful Rio Grande river flowing North to south. Located at 5,352 feet above sea level, our climate is sunny and dry.
The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta takes place the first week of October and is one of Albuquerque’s biggest attractions. Hundreds of hot-air balloons are seen in our skies every day, and there is live music, arts and crafts and great food.
